Membership

Please note all new members must pay the entrance fee in addition to the annual subscription. Our season is from May 1st to March 14th inclusive.

Isfield Angling Club has been in existence since 1946 and today has waters spread across Sussex and Surrey providing coarse fishing opportunity throughout the season. As a member you have access to all our waters throughout the season (May 1st – March 14th) and adults are entitled to invite guests for a small fee on a guest ticket to sample the fishing on offer (Available from June 1st ONLY). Joint memberships are available and there are discounts for senior citizens, Blue Badge Holders and juniors. Children under the age of 12 can join for free under the supervision of their parents or guardian.

Isfield has an active match scene and whilst the heady days of Isfield winning the Angling Times National Winter League are a distant memory, club matches are well attended and a great way of learning methods and baits that work on our various venues. Any member is welcome to join a match.

Most members join for the opportunity to catch fish, but many are just as interested in being surrounded by stunning countryside and to feel immersed in nature. It’s not uncommon to see Kingfishers, grass snakes, Green woodpeckers, dormice, Red Kite and a plethora of dragonflies, water birds and pretty much every species of tree southern Britain has to offer. There is always something to experience and whilst many folk think of angling as a sedentary sport it is also recognised by Sport England and Active Sussex as a great way to stay fit and healthy.
