River Uck upstream, Isfield Mill, Uckfield Area
River Description
The club was formed at The Laughing Fish in Isfield and the River Uck is the clubs spiritual home. It’s a very different river today with Environment Agency and OART ongoing work to re-naturalise the river, but remains as beautiful as ever. The walk upstream from the road bridge to the first railway bridge is one for traveling light and exploring the various pools and straights with a stick float, small waggler or light ledger.
