Great Early Season Catches
With so many anglers on the banks over the first few weeks of the season there have been some great catches on many of our venues. Big Carp including a record 37lb fish from
Broadhurst and a 31lb fish from The Mill have been reported along with a 17lb Grass Carp from Albourne. There have been plenty of beautiful Tench from Harrock House, Wilderness Top Lake and Albourne Junior Pond. A 7lb 4oz Tench and a 7lb 2oz Tench also put in an appearance at Broadhurst in a bag of fish that included 30 Bream. The Roach fishing at Cypress Woods has been prolific as has the Bream fishing at Firtoll. With the river season only just beginning there have already been reports of big Chub where the Uck flows into the Ouse and Eels and Roach have been showing well at Glynde Reach.
Get out there and enjoy some great fishing!
