Water Quality

At this time of year we start to keep a close eye on water quality. The hot weather and low rainfall has a big impact on all water bodies and we keep a particular eye on oxygen levels. To help protect our lakes we have now invested in some solar powered aeration systems which you will see being put in place at Albourne, Mill Pond and Firtoll over the coming few days. You should also try to help things by limiting the amount of bait used later in the summer when o2 levels will be at their lowest. If you see any obvious signs of fish distress, algae blooms or water leaks then please let us know
