Always an exciting day even if many folk fish throughout the year. The first chance to get on the rivers and drains and with it being so warm and sunny right now the early mornings and late evenings are going to be best, particularly on The Ouse if you want to avoid the ever increasing boat traffic . Here’s the result of a couple of hours stick float fishing at Whitebridge this morning … just a shame about the big Perch that got away …..
