Fabulous catch from Firtoll

Conor Harvey snared this lovely 29lb 1oz fish from Firtoll. Here is his catch in his own words …

With a strong westerly wind pushing into the far right corner, I had seen some crashing and movement into the pads only a few feet out from the bank under a overhanging tree. Getting my gear sorted quickly after a few laps around the lake, I placed a single cell boilie on a spinner rig around 5 ft from the bank. As the sun was setting my rod tore off with this 29lb 1oz mirror on the end. Only the one carp for the 24 hour session but a brilliant result especially so early on in the season.
