Bread in the winter

At this time of year with the temperatures low and both rivers and lakes being clear for much of the time, bread comes into its own. Targetting chub and roach on the rivers with bread is often very successful and for those of you looking for a few bites on our lakes Carp are also suckers for a bit of bread. Dont feed much, just search your peg in different places and differetn depths until you find the fish that are often shoaled up tightly. This net came from Highlands – 12 fish in 90 minutes without feeding and the temperature barely above 1 degree. Good Luck
