A club match record
Fishing has been difficult over the last couple of weeks with dropping temperatures, leaf fall and fewer hungry fish. The club match at Mill Pond was no exception with high pressure, clear skies, clear water and a cold northerly wind not making for the best conditions for bream fishing. Only 6 six anglers out of 28 fishing caught anything, but for Peter Sells his one fish was a very special one indeed – a 30lb 3oz Common Carp caught on triple maggot on method feeder which took some 30 minutes to land and is by far and away the biggest fish ever caught in an Isfield club match. Well done Peter!
